Reflection: Final Grading

What a journey it has really been. It’s almost end of the school year. It feels like it’s only yesterday when I’m struggling to graduate in high school but now I want to stop or slow down time because I’m scared. Thinking about college always gives me Goosebumps.

Reminiscing my high school life makes me teary eyed. My friends would be on different universities from mine. I would be living in a town or city with no friends. But before thinking about college, let us go back to the present. Our lesson this grading was all about Photoshop. At first I was really nervous because I’m not that good in editing. But with the help of our teacher Mrs Evelyn Vera Cruz, she made our lessons easy and not complicated. I liked this grading period a lot. I feel like even though our meetings were limited, I still learned a lot. I was able to learn more than I expected.

I’m a bit sad because my days in the Computer room are numbered. I will miss the days when we are watching anime on our classmate’s laptop and our teacher will tell us to connect it to a projector. The days when we secretly eat foods inside the computer room (Sorry Maam! :D) I will miss computer 15. I will miss a lot of things and experiences but I will surely treasure all the memories inside the school, Ilocos Sur National High School.

Dream BIGGER! :)

Future. None of us really know what awaits us. Whether we’d have the profession we've always wanted since grade school or something completely different from what we have originally planned

The phrase “what if’s” keeps going on my mind. Like what my course will I take up, and what my life’s gonna be. Graduation is fast approaching yet I haven’t even decided where will I be really studying and what course to take up in college. It is really indeed a decision which needs enough time to think about the right answers. Because this decision that we’ll soon be going to make will surely make a big difference in our lives in the future. For now, my dream is to be a successful person in the future.

Our dreams are like the stars above at night, they just stay there shining brightly while waiting for us to reach them. It may seem impossible to catch one but if you believe in HIM, nothing is really impossible. A dream does not become reality through magic. It takes sweat, determination, hard work and FAITH.

P.S. Do not forget to Aim Higher and Dream Bigger!

Change: It starts with ME

I truly believe in the saying that the only constant in the world is change. It is absolutely true. The morning you had just today will soon be gone and changed it into another morning of tomorrow. Yes, both are still mornings but they can never be the same.

CHANGE always starts with in ourselves. It always starts with how we do little things every day. When we try to practice a new and a better habit, spending our time wisely, being a multi-tasker and a risk taker. If we think and plan to create a whole new perspective of our lives, apparently we start to live better.

Change for the better or change for the worse?  I’d go for the first one, definitely.

Insight: Ylocos Kannawidan Festival

Kannawidan, is a local term used by the Ilocanos which means ‘A traditional practice’. This occasion had opened the eyes of the Ilocanos to the culture and traditions their ancestors in the past had brought them.

Biguenos indeed enjoyed every time they had during Kannawidan Festival. The night of January 29, 2015, a very beautiful fireworks lightened up the very dark sky. It was a huge success to the leaders of Vigan City. And it would not be possible without the cooperation of the Biguenos.

We could see the festivities were also held to show the unity of a town, for us to see the oneness of the citizens would make impossible to possible.

Reflection: Third Grading Period

As you can see, this grading period was so far my craziest rode along my journey as a senior student. I've encountered the disease "TAMADism" recently.  Ever heard of it?. But hey! That's life! That was my downfall. And now, I'm happy to say that I'm back on track.  My Goal: never ever ever let the disease "TAMADism" get along my way towards the finish line again. I've learned my lesson and I hope that I'll do much much MUCH better today.

Tik tok tik tok tik tok. 3 months to go seniors! 3 months to go and our journey as a high school student will be over. Time is running so fast and I had been thinking. What will happen to me after graduation? (FOODS! Haha. Jk!) One thing is for sure: I will definitely going to miss my best friends.  The bonding, the laughs, the jokes, the time for us to goof around and sing till our heart's content. These little things but extremely breath-taking moments are what I'll gonna miss with my best friends.

Remember guys! 3 months to go. 3 months to bond and be happy with your classmates and wonderful teachers. 3 months to strive hard for your studies. And 3 months to make your high school life worth remembering.

Turning Over a New Leaf

This 2015 a change is going to happen. New Year, new me I guess.
This time. I'm going to do it for real. You know. Doing the new year's resolution which I should have done last year but didn't remember. I have been lazy and I have been foolish with my decisions lately. I'm going to graduate in a few months meaning change should be in order. Even if it’s kind of hard.

A better me I hope. I learned my lessons in year 2014 and I’m not going to make the same mistakes twice. I may not be perfect but no one is perfect. But this will not stop me to become closer to perfection. My past will serve as my guide and my present should serve as my inspiration, for my future lies in me.

This year will be a better year for me and my family and this I am sure of. Because I see colourful fireworks whenever I think I can do it.

December to Remember

Last page of the calendar. Last month for the year 2014. The most awaited month every year. Not everybody does but almost everyone. It is the most anticipated month of the year because it has something that any month can't have. It has the most loved and most cherished celebration that any man can't ever forget. And this celebration is none other than what we call,
CHRISTMAS.
Did I mention that the month of December is one of my favorite months throughout a year? Well it's because of:

-CHRISTMAS BREAK!!
-Coldest month of the year (Also the first week of January)
-Cute and Festive decorations throughout the city

-Bonding with my relatives
-Lots of Mouth-watering foods in the Kitchen!
-Sleeping until I wake up at 11am
-Time for sharing, loving, forgiving and tons of 'alegría'

The true essence of Christmas is within our hearts. It depends on how we treasure people who are always  with us in keeping life meaningful. Because life is a jigsaw puzzle. Everyone is here because he or she has a place to fill. It depends on how we show our tender love and care to Him. If we know how to do it, for sure, we will have the most unforgettable holiday we ever had. :)
